Terms & Conditions

- Introduction
- Service Provider : This service is operated by Cari Wreck enterprise, a registered entity under Companies Commission of Malaysia, Registration No. [202503015187 (003688614-T)].
- Agreement: By booking or using our inspection services, the customer agrees to comply with these Terms & Conditions, which form a legally binding contract.
- Updates: The Company reserves the right to amend these terms. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
- Scope of Service
- Inspection Coverage :
- Inspections include but are not limited to: mechanical systems (engine, transmission), structural integrity (chassis, frame), electronic systems, accident history verification, and odometer validation.
- Exclusions: Inspections do not cover dismantling of components, environmental factors (e.g., flood damage not visibly evident), or future mechanical failures.
- Report Limitations :
- The inspection report is valid for 30 days from the date of inspection and reflects the vehicle’s condition at that time. The report is no longer valid if the vehicle undergoes significant changes, including but not limited to: A change in vehicle ownership. An increase in mileage beyond 30 kilometers from the mileage recorded at the time of inspection.
After this period or under these conditions, the report may no longer accurately reflect the vehicle’s current condition.
- The inspection report reflects the vehicle’s condition at the time of inspection only.
- The Report is advisory and does not replace a manufacturer’s warranty, guarantee and history vehicle registration as (e.g., e-hiling)
- Third-Party Reliance :
- The Report may be shared with third parties (e.g., insurers, dealers) at your discretion, but the Company assumes no liability for their interpretation or actions. Any sharing of the report information made by Cari Wreck will not be held liable.
- Customer Obligations
- Accurate Information :
During inspections, must provide truthful details, including VIN, ownership status, and known defects. Misrepresentation voids liability.
- Access Requirements :
- Ensure the vehicle is stationary, unlocked, and fully accessible (e.g., none blocked car for inspection etc).
- Failure to provide access may result in rescheduling fees or partial refunds.
- Safety Compliance :
The vehicle must be free of hazardous materials or illegal modifications.
- Fees & Payment
- Pricing Structure :
- Fees vary by vehicle type standard cars, luxury vehicles (cars segment) and capacity of engine size.
- Travel charges apply for locations beyond 30 km from our designated service areas (may be effective until further notice).
- Payment Terms :
- Full payment is required upfront via approved methods (credit/debit cards, bank transfers).
- Refund Policy :
- No refunds for completed inspections.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of booking forfeit 50% of fees.
- Liability & Disclaimers
- Exclusions of Liability :
- The Company is not liable for :
- Pre-existing damage or hidden defects (e.g., internal engine wear, limited access parts to check).
- Financial losses from purchase decisions made based on the Report.
- Third-party repairs or modifications post-inspection
- Maximum Liability :
Total liability for any claim shall not exceed 100% of the inspection fee paid.
- Force Majeure :
The Company is not liable for delays/cancellations due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics).
- Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Cancellation Window :
Cancellations within 48 hours incur a 50% fee.
- Rescheduling :
One free rescheduling allowed 24 hours in advance. Subsequent changes may incur fees.
- Data Protection & Privacy
- Data Usage :
- Personal data (name, contact) and vehicle details are stored securely and used solely for service delivery.
- Data may be retained for 3 years for regulatory compliance.
- Third-Party Sharing :
- Data is shared only with authorized partners (e.g., diagnostic software providers) under confidentiality agreements.
- Opt-out requests must be submitted in writing.
- Intellectual Property
- Ownership :
All Reports, logos, and content remain the Company’s intellectual property. Redistribution for commercial purposes is prohibited.
- License :
Customers receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Report for personal decision-making.
- Dispute Resolution
- Jurisdiction :
Unresolved disputes will be settled in courts governed by Malaysia law.
- Compliance & Ethics
- Anti-Bribery :
The Company adheres to anti-corruption laws of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC). Report unethical practices to info@sprm.gov.my
- Miscellaneous
- Severability :
If any clause is deemed unenforceable, the remainder of the terms remain valid.
- Entire Agreement :
These terms supersede prior agreements or representations.
- Waiver :
Failure to enforce a clause does not constitute a waiver of rights.
